بیوگرافی Biography

Maryam Sepehri left her career as a medical technician to attend Beh-Andish and Tehran Film school successively. She studied editing for a BA and received master degree in photography from Tehran University of Art.

Sepehri’s other activities include writing short stories, research, translating screenplays and collaborating with publications like “Shargh” newspaper, “Haft” magazine and “Zanan(women)” monthly. She received the best filmmaking achievement award from New York, Stony Brook Film Festival for the documentary movie “Thicker Than Paint” in 2015.

Maryam Sepehri joined the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association IRDFA in 2014.
